I have sky+ multiroom in two rooms which uses all four of the connections on my dish. Is there a way for me to connect my old sky box to the dish as well to recieve un-encrypted channels eg will a cable splitter work or will this interere with one of the Sky+ boxes?

Hi,
No a splitter won't work as the LNB has switches for Hi/Lo band and H/V polarisation.

You need to either get an Octo LNB, put another dish up or use a multiswitch.

Sorry Robbo71 but no
Un-encrypted means they were transmitted encrypted before they they were de-crypted to allow one to view them.
FTA means they are transmitted without encryption therefore do not need de-crypting.

However we are now getting into the realms of the terminology problems between here and the USA and it is too late at night
