30 w hispasat help

hi all please help im a newbie

i have a technomate 1500 85cm motor dish , i need help getting on 30w, i select the satellie from the list and the signal is very poor i have tried moving it west and east and the signal does not improve, can you give me any pointers to get the channels please thanks in advancei

can i do this via the motor or by moving the dish manually?

Are you using USALS?

You should not adjust the dish manually while at 30W, as this may mal-adjust it for picking up the other sats.

Assuming that your pole is perfectly vertical and the latitude/elevation
setting on your motor is correct, I recommend that you position the
motor to Thor 1W and re-check that your dish is aligned properly.

a pro fixed it for me and i can get all other satellites. i do not know what usals are im sorry,

still no joy, i cant get thor 1w either

sounds like you need to start from scratch

i can get 19.2 e. 16.0 eutelsat(digialb). 13.0 e, 28.2 e. turksat 42,

so i get quite a lot, a company fitted it for me as i paid for digialb(gold package) but no joy for hispasat
