I am looking into possibility of installing a fixed 1.2m CM dish pointing at 40E C band. Does anyone have any experience with this satellite on a similar dish size? It comes in loudly on my 1.8m but not sure if I'll have my rain-fade room with a 1.2m (if it works at all).

Using the 1.2m CM can receive most transponders around 50%SQ. Some are much more . One or two there is nothing. Not sure why.

It is huge signal levels from 40.0E, I am getting bleed over from it on a 2.0m dish with the dish aligned on 38.0E. It is not the dish size you are planning to use but it illustrates the strength of the signals from 40.0E
