Ive managed to get a weak signal off 3962R RTV Dagestan. Not strong enough for a picture the signal is only peaking at about 30%.

1.1m dish aimed at 46E.

No scalar ring as the lnb has to be too close to the Azerspace 1 lnb and I dont have time to strip the lnb assembly down completely

I mamanged to put the stepped scalar on and now have a reasonable number of the RHCP tp's Most of them are encrypted but at least I can see them. 3962R seems to be the strongest though. I shall have a go with the Penta tomorrow as thats currently not doing anything

Zip on the 85cm Penta, but it was very nice being out in the garden on a blazing hot morning

They are encrypted in BISS so shouldn't be difficult to decode.

FREE TO AIR TV channels, in C band, received with a 150 cm dish ...
The L-band in the C band is an old model with a 17 Kelvin noise factor.
The test was made for the comparison with the future lnb, C1W-PLL (15 Kevin), of the Titanium Satellite manufacturer in Meadow Vista, California, which will replace the old one.
I will return with information about the reception with the new lnb ...

the AVcom extension really improves the reception.
even with a 1.20m antenna I can receive a lot of transponders on Express-AM1

AV Comm barrel is probably one of the best investments I've made. It was like going up a dish size in some cases.
