Just out of curiosity,

If I was to plug a decent receiver (Humax/Sammy etc), into a sky dish, what could I expect to receive/see?

Pete.

Yuu would pull in Astra 19.2 most of the time Pete, most of the Hotbird channels, but not very well and a few bits and pieces elsewhere. The 45cm minidish performs close to a cheap 60cm in my experience.

Thanks Rolf,

I thought someone might say 'audio coverage of the house of Lords', and CBBC.

I think I'll get a receiver first, tinker about with it, then get a dish fitted.

One thing at a time eh lads;)

Pete.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

It depends where in the world you do it

Plenty of high power satellites up there, and your location is 'global'
