I have a pair of audio-technica noise cancelling full headphones from my mate who was a sales man for them. You wont get a better pair of headphones for 150 squid. Great for long haul flights. Back to 48C nothing else at the moment now the clouds are breaking up.

Either on the headphone socket of the TV or possibly on the audio out of the satellite box.

Mine are plugged into the headphone socket of my computer as I watch & do the screengrabs on the tv card in my computer.

Did a blind scan with my Dr HD and the motorised 1.2M this morning.

SD CH1 13.9 dB
SD CH2 14.0 dB

Audio has definite slight distortion on Ch1

As a member of 105 post I recon that my percentage of cr**p is better than yours. :)
In fact any thing that I post after 9pm should be ignored. :)

Here level is 98%, Quality is 78% in drizzly rain on my less sensitive TBS card and, yes, it does sound slightly like SD CH-1 is transmitting it's audio through a fish tank full of water!

Eutelsat 48C has left 48.1° East, and moves West with over 2° per day, which is quite fast.
48C was also removed from the Eutelsat site.
Launched 1999 with 12 years lifetime, all this probably means the end for this bird.

No, 48C never serviced at 16° East.
Depending on what "knackered" means to you, in 2010 at 16° East we first had W2 failing completely, then came W2M as one of the replacement satellites with limited power.
(W2M is now 48D/Afghansat 1 remaining at 48.1° East).

The Eutelsat 48C of this tread started in 1999 as W3 at 7° East, then in 2004 as W6/21A at 21.5° East, and finally in 2013 inclined at 48.1° East.
