is there a simple way to switch 5 fixed lnbs? i note diseqc switches seem to support 4 way but not more. is it a question of using a manual a/b? is there better, non "manual" way.

If your receiver supports 12v switching you can use this facility to run a 12V switch between 2 banks of 4 disecq switches.

hi AS,

and if it doesn't ? am i stuffed? this here pic seems to suggest diseqc switches can be cascaded...?

and even though my german ain't great it appears, there's plenty of options here:

i'm not@home so i can't check, but this pic from my receiver's menu (in italian!) appears to suggest i got 0/12v siwtching, so i should be sorted!

I think someone on here did get cascaded switches working by connecting the second switch to port A on the first. Never tried it, so no idea how well it would work..

HI, A S
Yes , you can connect more than 4 lnbs. By 12V 4 way Switch , which not expensive and easily available in Electronics Accessories Shops . Connect 12V Supply from the back of the Receiver and connect the LNBs up to 4 with this Switch. Remember to chech-in 12V with each LNB in your receiver too. thats all. It is working fine in my receiver.
