1m motorised dish

My system ( Force 516S with 1m motorised dish ) won't recognise or list any of the Bis channels on 5 W when I scan the relevant frequencies. I've checked and rechecked the frequencies, symbol rates etc and they all appear to be correct.
I've had the system for several years from new so I'm pretty au fait with how to do things and to scan for new channels etc.
I'd be very grateful if somebody could point me in the right direction or suggest what the problem might be as it's driving me mad trying to get it working.
I've deleted quite a few unused TV channels as I thought there might be too many on the system but this hasn't worked. Normally when I scan a frequency the channels available will be listed even if the TV list is full, however I can't get any channels to list at all.
