I thought there was a thread about this already.

5G overlaps a number of frequencies on the spectrum that are important for determining rainfall and - I think - ozone detection. The sensitive instruments on LEOs or high altitude aircraft could be swamped when scanning over built up areas, though the main problem will be the corruption to data that has determined patterns of weather.
