I changed the lcd on my nokia 6310i, when i switch it on the screen says contact service, does this mean the phone is now locked and if so how do i unlock it. Any ideas please.

Don't know, but don't see how changing the LED would lock the phone.

Why not contact service. You can do it from a landline if the mobile is locked.

Is it asking for you to put in something like a PUK code in or is it just giving you the message contact service??

Try a systems reset - remove SIM and start phone - this carries aout a mastrer reset. When message Insert SIM appears, power down, insert SIM and restart. Should cure it. I manage about 40 users with same model - it's a little "undocumented feature" ;-)
