74/75 East - data channel

I received a data channel on 10978v, SR 200, FEC 1/2 this morning at approx the 74/75°E slot. Only thing I can find listed is a data channel on Insat 74°E which fits the parameters. I know this is highly unlikely to be the Insat here in SE England but can anyone further east have a look please?

For Hastings, Gsat-7 at 74.0°E has 2.0° elevation.
So with a clear view it's well possible, and this transponder is known to be pretty strong, so congrats!

Just checked Mikes exact location and 74°E is 1.2° elevation, I was surprised to see that Satbeams reckons 76.5°E is 0.1° above the horizon at his location and the MENA beam is still 45dBw at its edge. If my geometry is correct that would put it about 30 metres above his visual horizon, we're always up for a challenge

Yes, 10978V is the strongest signal of 74°E

No idea but this is a military satellite, no true footprint available I think.
