Hi,

I've gotten a second CM 120cm dish with a polar mount which I would like to use for C Band. Does anybody have a 76mm diameter ground stand they don't need or use and would like to get rid of it?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

Apologies, I should have written combination mount (I think I have the original Channel Master 3" wall mount that could be used as a floor stand if three blocks / kerb stones were strategically placed on the ground). They were fragile though, with alloy end prices on the arms that could fracture if tightened up incorrectly.

This looks like it might be worth buying if you want to retain the h to h gearbox, not checked the carriage to the Uk though.

I have a ground mount here I don't use now. The pole is heavy steel, painted black. 1 metre long x 76mm outside diameter. There are six heavy metal struts and all the nuts. I don't know if it is Channel Master branded.

Ditto. It's not heavy duty but is relatively light and has been sand blasted and powder coated a while back and has been in storage since.

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
The old ground mount (with a 60mm pole) that I have here is made of welded steel and weighs a lot - but a heavy hammer would just bounce off it! Still available f.o.c., for collection!

I thought it had a 50mm pole.

I'm not sure if the other member who wanted to collect the mount has done so but I've sort of DIY it today and made a mount for the dish.

I'll mount it on a mast that I have and see how it works.

Are you not using the polar mount? An extra U-bolt might be sensible :)

I will be using the polar mount on my other dish but it's in pretty poor shape - I want to paint it and get the screws/bolts replaced before mounting it.

Good idea regarding the extra U-bolt, thanks!
