80cm dish - where to buy on the cheap

Wavefield T55, 20 LNB's and a whole load of analogue boxes!

Close to Southampton
i've convinced my parents they need a dish at 5W for the french stuff, since they speak they lingo.

i'm presuming an 80cm dish will be required - they live in the midlands....

where can i get one on the cheap? ideally i don't want to pay more than £30, but it looks like £45 is nearer the mark:

I would try the local tip and or car boot sale, probably loads of them floating about. :)

an offer i hate to refuse, however i think 1.1m will look a bit big for what its needed for... shame... hope someone else can take you up on that... cheers.

The digital services will be going encrypted at some point, but the analogue ones (probably) arent going anywhere soon

No they're not, they will be in the clear as long as hundreds of thousands of French people continue to use it to receive all 6 terrestrial channels.

Canal Plus of course is encrypted for most (but not all) of the day.
