Is there such a thing as an indoor satellite receiver? The building management won't allow dishes on the outside of our building and the area does not have a cable feed.

If no indoor then is there a way around my predicament?

If you have a window facing the right direction then you could install a dish inside. However that is quite intrusive to the room that it is in.

If dishes aren’t allowed do you think they would mind a flat plate antenna?

Or you could get a DigiGlobe – a lamp with a dish hidden in it

Also are you on the ground floor? There are quite a few dish disguises that cover dishes on the ground.

Thanks for those, as for living on the ground floor, we are at the moment but we're moving to the first next week on the opposite side of the building.

The other thing you could do (assuming it is a block of flats) is see if any other residents want a Sky system (and as there is no cable in the area it is probably quite likely) and present the idea of installing a communal shared dish to the building management/factor people.

These systems are expensive, but one dish discretely installed on a roof (or somewhere hidden) could feed everyone in the building.

Yea, the problem with that is no one talks to each other in this place and the building management are up themselves, if you know what I mean, it's a modernish building, not like it's listed or anything!

LOL, modern living!

Why don't you print out your proposal and chuck it through all the letterboxes?
If you get a handfull of replies, you might be in business!
