I am looking for twin or quad 0.3Db LNB and found ACER Twin Univ. LNB 0.3dB, (HDW-FUNWAVE2) on the Net. Has anyone used such before? Are they good? Also I saw INVACOM, but they are a bit more expensive. Do they worth the money?

Thanks

Unless you can find anyone who has used the Acer, I would go for the invacom, some noise figures for LNBs are selective and the LNB may not perform significantly better than a .,6 model.

The LNB and dish are the base of your system, so saving a couple of pounds may be a false economy.

I had the single 0.3 Invacom, and it was fantastic. It enabled my then 60cm dish to pick up stuff which people said was impossible. :)

I've now got the twin version and can't detect any degradation in performance, even when the two recievers are tuned to different transponders.

Recommended!

I bought from this guy. Great price. In fact I emailed him, and did it outside of ebay, and got it even cheaper!

Thanks BG.
Looks like a great bargain. Just wanted my arm twisted a bit more before deciding!
