Adding a 120gb H/Drive to a Pace 3100

No...sorry if you thought I was telling you how to do it!!! I am asking.

I want to replace the 40gb HD in the receiver,with a 120gb Drive. Has anybody done this and if so, is there a specific bit of software that will let me format the drive? I have noticed adverts for people asking for you to send your box to them ( and they will do the upgrade, but at a high cost. I feel confident enough to open it up and do the hardware side, but am wondering on the format side. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is the Pace3100 Sky+? V1 or V2?

HI whot sat yearly review mag has an article on upgrading

they mention looking in side to see what make and model of HD is present

then buy a bigger drive of same make and model

They say it will format as it goes

Haven't got a Sky + yet get 1 shortly
