Hi all, hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Living in France And want to be able to watch both uk Freesat and French TNTSAT through different set-top boxes, but from a single dish with 2 separate LNBs. Is there any ready-made offset brackets that will point the 2 lnbs to 28e and 19e , or, is there an adjustable LNB holder that is available that I could use? I know that Sedea do an adjustable bracket, but it’s only available to registered professionals, and I’m just an average Jo. I hope someone can help, thanks in advance. Jean

It would be helpful if you could be more specific about your location: Although 19.2E isn't a problem, 28.2E can be very tricky to receive with a modest sized dish in some parts of France.

I live 45.7 N, 0.9E - about 40km from Limoges in the Haute Vienne, so about half way down the country. By all accounts there is no need for big dishes around here - there are several campsites with residents who use 60cm dishes successfully with constant signal.

Sad to say you are just outside the UK footprint for a 28.2 & 19.2 for a 60cm dish look at the map below for 28.2 east you may need a 80 cm dish for 28 east as there is a very sudden signal fall off outside this service area.

Excellent - I feared you might be South-East ish!

But, as either one or both of the desired Satellites is going to be offset (depending upon whether you find it best to align the dish exactly to one bird and fully offset the other, or whether you pick an intermediate azimuth and offset both LNBs), you'd be advised to get a decent sized dish, circa 1m maybe, to overcome the inefficiency.

Thank you for the advice. My next question is how would I offset both LNBs? This brings me back to part of my original question about sourcing an adjustable LNB holder.

Align the dish on 28.2e & offset 19.2e. You're going to need all the signal you can get from the UK beam for all weather reception. If you're feeling flush a Cahors Big Bisat should work well, and they provide software or an app to calculate exactly where the LNBs need to go.

Can I just confirm, is this the Correct search? “Multi Feed Lnb Holder” ? Or is there a better search term?

I used "Multi Satellite Bracket", but of course sellers are rarely consistent with their descriptions, so try different related terms.

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
FWIW, the bracket you use might depend on the dish that you buy - some manufacturers offer dedicated Offset-LNB brackets for some of their dishes. Therefore I would decide on the dish you are going to buy, and then on the offset bracket that would be most suitable.
