Its a decent enough bit of kit to play with - the dish is rather on the small side for the more exotic sats, but it will be ok for 19E and 28E, and the stronger transponders on 13E.

in reply to this what would be a good size dish ?

I use an 80cm dish for fta channels from a dozen or so satellite slots - I keep a web site of the satellites I can see:

h**p://www.digitalsat.co.uk

which will give you an idea of what can be found with a very scruffy dish.
