advice needed

i have bought a receiver from the car boot and i have no idea what it does.it says on the receiver god digital it comes with a card for veiwing the god channel and on the card it says cryptoworks.i have powered it up it has disecq facility and is made in germany.thats all i can tell you about it,it does not have a model no.or any other indication.

Its a few yars old from the plans by the God Network to have a pay tv service for religious stuff. Needless to say the plan was a disaster and never got going.

You can throw the card away - its useless.

The box should be good for the fta channels.

thanx for the info,ive just been trying it does pick up the fta channels as you mention.cant go wrong for 50 pence.
