Hi,

I have Galaxis IQg matrix S receiver with a 80cm and two LNBs pointing at hotbird/Astra. I also have Viaccess redcam and Irdeto All CAM. I wanted to get a 1.2m dish and motorise it. My receiver does not support diseqC 1.2. There are two main questions

(1) Is diseqC are capable of moving 1.2 dishes? Can I use H-H mounts or I have buy actuators and 36V positioner(v box?)
(2) Do I need by an other receiver to motorise?

Thanks
Fab

If the box does not support DiSEqC1.2 then for a dish of the size you want to get, cheapest option would be to have a standalone positioner box, four wire cable and a horizon motor

Three questions to confirm the above though

Can the new dish be modified to move ?
Does it have the clamps in the usual places for a pole fitting ?
Do you have enough space where it will be installed to move between satellites ?

I didn't buy the dish yet. I'm planing to leave the dish as it is and install a new one where it got space to move.

So can I assume I need
(1) A dish and LNB. Like VIKING/FORTEC 1.2 Metre £89
(2) positioner box. Like SatControl £89?
(3) horizon motor. Like Jaeger Diseq H-H 120 Mount £99
(4) four wire cable
(5) wall mounts?

Please adivce on the above

thank you for your help
