Channel Five may have announced it was abandoning the fruitier end of the programme spectrum in the wake of Dawn Airey's departure but at Sky One is seems to be business as usual with an autumn schedule full of s_x.
With titles such as Laid Bare, The Big Fantasy, When s_x Goes Wrong, Vivid XXX and Six Degrees of Penetration, Ms Airey seems to be aping her "football, films and ****ing" formula that drove the early growth of Five.
Laid Bare features an in-depth profile into the lives of three tabloid stars, Rachel Hunter, Jodie Marsh and Pamela Anderson, while The Big Fantasy is billed as the "most exhaustive" survey into the nation's favourite sexual flights of imagination.
Further "light-hearted" adult entertainment is provided by Vivid XXX, a look at one of the most successful adult entertainment businesses, as well as the Unofficial World Records of s_x and When s_x Goes Wrong, which looks at disastrous dates and sexual faux pas.
Six Degrees of Penetration, meanwhile, looks at how celebrities are linked by the people they sleep with.
"We are not afraid to take risks to bring ever more daring television shows to our viewers," said Sky One's controller, Sara Ramsden, adding the provocative line-up would "strongly appeal" to its core viewers.
Sitting alongside Sky One's adult-orientated line up are US reality shows Mr Personality, a dating show hosted by infamous former White House intern Monica Lewinsky, and For Love or Money, where 15 women compete for one man or a prize of $1m.
Sky One's other imports include a new series of Malcolm in the Middle, series 15 of The Simpsons, which features guest appearances by Tony Blair and Simon Cowell. The channel also welcomes back Stargate SG-1 for its seventh series.
Providing the football element of Sky One's new season is a seventh series outing for footie soap Dream Team, Football Years II and The Premiership's Greatest, which looks at the stars of the UK's top league since its foundation in the 10 years ago.
