Well been through a few forums online and read Al Jaz acquired ART and also read that the Al Jaz cards should clear ART channels has anyone managed to do so on their system?:-hny

On the foreign satellite section of boards.ie a few posters have reported art channels clearing with al jazeera viaccess cards and vice versa. I have an al jazeera Irdeto card which does not clear art at the moment. They reported clearing art sport channels but not the showtime channel available with the original art card.

No doubt the takover will create some convergence of systems and lead to eventual disappearance of one or more encryption licenses. It will be extremely short lived I suspect so if anyone is getting a freebee then good luck to them enjoy it while you are able

Im clearing art sport channels with my al jazeera viaccess card!:-thumbup

if you have jazeera viaccess card you can clear art sport channels on hotbird and if you have irdeto card you can clear art channels on nilsat if have tried it on both and it works

No I wouldn't believe the earth was flat. Thats why I was asking if anyone has had any luck. From reading the replies I am out of luck coz I have a Irdeto on Hotbird.
