So this is Algerian satellite... Any information about numbers of tp and maps since the launch is very soon? I have found nothing...

It will carry both transponders in Ku-band, Ka-band for civil applications and X-band, UHF and EHF for the needs of the military and strategic state sectors.

P.S. new 5W and 18W are going to have dedicated Algearia beams and they obviously have some capacity at 22W... is not that too much?...

You have posted above details about the radionavigation payload in L-band.
Alcomsat-1 has payload in UHF, X, Ku and Ka band as well.
Being co-located with Intelsat 905 at 24.5°W, hopefully Alcomsat-1 will NOT use 10.95...11.2 and 11.45...11.7 GHz.

Several weeks of in-orbit testing should have started, maybe some members will find test carriers and report here!

There's a carrier at 12501.992MHz V at 22dB SNR in 1kHz at about that location (1.5m PF). I can't see any other beacons listed near that location and frequency in vertical polarisation.

There is a hint of it on CS but it doesn't show in the frequency scan.
