Seems like sat stuff to me! ! Providing there's decent third party support for the DVB-S/T tuners it seems like amazingly good VFM to me and the kind of thing I've been looking for in a satellite receiver for years. For what you get (hardware wise*) it would appear better value than a Dreambox/Topfield/Kaon/Triple Dragon.
*I say that but then who knows what DVB cards are in it? They may be £30 jobbies!
dunno wot jphili is on about.
TJE was kind enough to impart this information to members on "The Meeting Place Chat Forum" of this board. I think that was nice of him as not everyone gets weekly downloads from the German Supermarket chains.
Well if the DVB cards are good enough and all the other elements added up (and if I could justify spending another £750 on myself right now) then YES, not a problem. Not been in an Aldi before but they can't be any worse than a dedicated electrical/PC shop such as a Comet or a DSG store.
