aljazeera sports irdeto cards

recently bought one of these and its working in my receiver vantage x221, anyway just wondering is the card supposed to show the to and from valid dates as in the card details screen is just says card is not subscribed ?

the card must be fully active as all the channels work fine

i only have 1-8 channels so going to update it and what is the best channel to receive the update for the 2 other channels ?

just a good advice regarding those cards if you have a official irdeto cam use it ...some times they send some private emms for update and multicam receivers such as yours wont let it true so the card simply stops

i have one of the last art middle east cards,alkazzera bought now art middle east,i got information from syria where i bought the card,,the runing time of older irdeto cards will be from august,when i bought at this time,around a half year,would mean in aproximently january next year the light go out!
dealer informed me,after the card is swtiched off,i got a new viacces card,iam not exactly sure,what channels are affected,did all sending in simulrypt now?
i also dont know,when last time the irdeto cards has been replaced,currencly i have latest version 5.7V do you have the same,when you look in menu?
looks like,from todays view,the change the cards,maybe apriximently have year ago,when i rember right,all is a little bit confused,but some of this will happen!

Don't anything know about that, but my card did fall asleep a few times in the x221 and I had to pop it in the Manhattan to revive it.

thinking of getting a cam as i dont have any other receivers except for a tm1500 which i haven't tried the card in it yet.

sat europa has a neotion mpeg4 irdeto cam for sale will this work as i would prefer to spend on a hd compatible cam ?

huevos, i have no problems with a seca cyfra+ card in either of the slots in the vantage x221ci, so i presumed the irdeto aljazeera sport card would work without any issue.

I don't know. Mine was a Viaccess 3. I haven't bought a new one yet, but will probably get Irdeto. Other cards have worked fine in the x221. Sky white card works and AU's.

Pipino when you say "official Irdeto cam" what do you mean "official"? Do you mean official from Al Jazeera?

yes official with the irdeto logo,,i have my self a x221 and had few problems with irdeto cards from al jazeera , once i did a test i requested a refreshing signal from al jazeera´s data base , waited about 3 hours with nothing happening on that card ,,toke it off and put it on an oficial Irdeto manhattan ST550 decoder then resend back that refreshing signal from al jazeera web side ..guess what !! it toke about 5 segonds to activate!!! i did some inverstigation about that and found that irdeto send some emms only readable by official Cam/STB

Huevos, what software do you have on the vantage ? I have 620083A-O which is reading the irdeto card but sometimes there has been a slight pause in the pic which I guess is aljazeera sending new keys and my receiver not keeping up with this.

Same software. I had that trouble with an earlier version and my Sky card. Can't comment on the Al Jazeera card. Mine was Viacces 3. Dustbin job now. Will be getting another one shortly but may get a different STB first.

i have a newer irdeto cam with pink lettter color,and the old irdeto se 4.7/freecam,on both card was working!
