A Kalgoorlie man accused of blowing up a television satellite dish with mining explosives has appeared in the local court.
Police say Craig Draper, 28, and another man broke into a satellite compound in Kalgoorlie and placed explosives on three satellite dishes.
All of the explosives detonated but only one dish was damaged.
Mr Draper made a brief appearance in court yesterday and requested time to receive legal advice.
He was granted bail and will appear before the court on Friday along with another man charged over the same incident.
Meanwhile, Kalgoorlie police say a malfunction with a television satellite caused two commercial stations to go off the air last night.
