all cables removed except power and null modem and dreamup does not connect.

The power cable shouldn't be connected - only the null modem.

Until DreamUp informs you you have a connection - then plug in the power cable.

1. unplugged everything.
2. plug in null modem cable
3. load dreamup
4. click connect
5. connect power
6. turn on at back of box

dreamup does not recognise the box is connected and still says "connecttion prepared - now switch on the dreambox"

all very strange, though its done this a few time then it just works for no apparent reason, i'l just keep trying...

right, back into hyperterminal now, its just VERY slow...

it seems my boot was set the ethernet not flash which must of been slowing down the boot process.

just changed it back to flash now and saving

2 images on thereive never heard of, Quest Duo 5620 & Quest Jupiter 5620

Never heard of them - can you get Hydra Zeus for the 5620?

That's one of the better ones.

I'll have a look...

Use whatever T_G's using. He's beta-tested them all, and runs a motor OK. :)

Check his posts here.

Think that Hydra may give you motor problems. It seems to be about 50-50 with users here.

Told you. :D

T_G had Terminator V9 working nicely with the motor, but is using something else now. Search his posts.
