Got DBF_v3_Revolutions_5620 up and running, set all my require Sats up and the motor moves fine and am clearing Multivision :) (Is this about all we can clear now?) :confused

One problem I have encountered is that when I do I scan of Hotbird, I am not catching the Art channels, due to the fact that the DB is Locking on/off and I have not got a stable signal with that Trans. I am in the process of getting and fitting a Invacom 0.3 LNB which I hope will eradicate this problem. What do you think ?

So the question, is there a way I can manually input the Art Channels to see if I can get a clear picture or is it the case of if the DB is not keeping locked on all of the time I won't ?

Cheers

On the 7000 here's how to do it...

Remote - Menu > Setup > Service Searching > Transponder Edit >

Choose the satellite you want to edit from the left hand list, then, using the right key, move to the right hand list of frequencies.

Select 'add' from the options at the bottom - that's it

Hope it works on the 5000 series...

Did you change anything?

You could try a flash erase - the up button on startup, but you will lose the settings...

When this happened to me it was - get out the null modem cable erase the image and start again - this has happened at least three times...

I think it's called a learning curve... More like a pain in the b*tt

While we're on the subject of pain in the b*tt, is there a way I can save my now succesful Satellite settings and Motor Config, so if I have to install another image I can then just put them like they are now ?

Cheers

Try FlashWizardPRO or some images have the option to back up your settings.

You need to have a DreamBox with an Ethernet connection to your PC/Mac (the Mac needs Virtual PC to use FlashWizard)

If the LCD is working with information on the image on it I'm sure the bootloader is OK...

Don't know about the other receivers, I had problems at the start with the TCP/IP settings.

Just used the ones in the manual and all OK.
