1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 35 years and is now fixed on 13 East using two pairs of rusty molegrips. Unlike me they never groan but always perform.

Indeed, Ten Years After were one of those groups that never really had a very high profile despite their many albums, just good music
Having said that I suppose some would say you either loved them or hated them

Laminas 1.2M fibre dish with an IBU, on a Clarke Tech USALS motor, covering 57E - 24.5W to an Octagon SX88. Displayed on a 20" Dyon LED TV.

Seperate 80 cm dish on 28E with a Humax Freesat for SWMBO.
Free Sat V8 meter. Sony Bravia 46" LCD, Sony BluRay and Home Cinema.

Really sad to hear about this. I can remember hearing him playing "I'm Going Home" on John Peel's 'Top Gear' back in the late 60's. RIP Alvin

There was just so much good music around in the 70s that some bands just didn't get the acclaim they deserved. Still, they made their mark.<br /><br />RIP Alvin.

I saw him in a concert in 84, what a performer...he really gave all on his shows. RIP
