I was only getting the red signal bars on the TM5502HD yesterday when Hendrik reported this transponder with my 100cm set up,

Today the signal is steady with 63% Quality with the TM6902HD + 100cm dish
AAC audio all in English

AMD One "Technical fault on audio atm" (May change after Star-trek) (sound & vision ok now they could not have plugged in the audio correctly from the video machine)
AMD Sisters (sound & vision ok)
AMD Africa (sound & vision ok)
AMD Catch up (sound & vision ok)

Still no lock on the TM5502HD ?

A few tweaks here but still nada apart from occasion flashes of yellow on the TM 5302 signal bars. Im pulling in the weak Europe beam Telecom Serbia test on 11683V now (marginal no rain fade at all)

The lnb needs setting up properly - on a warm afternoon - its far too chilly outside to set up all my test gear atm. It looks like the 10 degree offset on an 80cm 13E Hotbird dish is just too much for the weak beam here.

I have now gone back to the TM6902HD 100cm set up & the signal is ok 62% Quality,

So for some reason the TM5302/TM5502HD cannot resolve these signals ?

I've got no luck either on this on using an old TM6900 and a 60cm dish (main focus 19.2E) in South Bucks. The frequency suggests this would indeed be on the narrow beam if it's on 3B, the wide beams are only in the 11.7-12.5GHz range from what I understand. I can get other narrow beam transponders though, but they are weaker than the wide beams. I suspect the 8PSK mode isn't helping if it's weak.

Your nearly matching my 1.2 with them figures Ray, I will have to get a 5402 so I/we can compare more correctly

Nothing here thought 12525V barely watchable. But as last few weeks no dx or new channels here because of 24/7 snow, sleet or rain. No frost or real winter but +1C and rain all the time, arrrgh:mad:

got them on a TD110/IBU/TM6800HD earlier whilst at my bro,s doing a blind scan 12.6 to 12.7 vertical but after the scan was finished wouldnt display a picture or lock the txp just sat at 11% snr... 12.525.v comes in at 82%snr on the same set up

Better signal here this morning 67% Quality on the TM6902HD with 100cm dish Picture & Sound ok

Going back to the TM5502HD with the same dish set up now able to scan the channels in but no picture or sound on this receiver I wonder why ?

Clearing with 88cm dish + TM5402HD M3 8.7dB/63% Quality this morning,
Contacted TM to look into the problem with the TM5502HD/TM5302HD not able to view this transponder signal not locking with 104cm dish ?

Little bit better weather today (still clouds but not any kind of white trash from sky) and 12525V 8.2dB and 11682V 8.4 dB but AMD freq. 2.3 dB and no lock for sure. Thanks again satellite operators to put Europe-beam and Finland stays far away from it We are outsiders, we are outsiders, we are outsiders...

Maybe thanks for using 8PSK also.
