Geography gets in the way - the American birds are below our western horizon* If you want to watch American TV you move stateside. ;)

its the one hope that most satellite enthusiasts have... being able to pick up american channels... unfortunatley the birds they put in orbit are shared mostly with Australia, so they are in orbit between the two countries.... 2 far for us to reach
sharing between Australia and the USA is cheaper for them.... europeans want channels in there own language.

maybe some billionaire will launch a bird halfway between and bounce the signal round to us

i wont hold my breath....
