No problem here (quite near you). 36 channels on 6 TP's with SMW 1.2 dish.

Forget Amos 1 though. On Amos 2, you can try for the strongest TP's - 10743H SR3750, and 10763H SR23250 - both over 80 signal quality here.

Other TP's with slightly lower SQ are 10763H SR26250 and 10797H SR13740.

As Llew states, forget Amos1, just search the transponders on Amos2, score of channels from that satellite here.

I seem to struggle signal wise with all western sats compared to my eastern ones - although I can get right up to PAS9 58w, the channels I most want to have - ie sats 4-30w seem to be either non existent or very weak - Sky news on Hispasat comes in at best around 45%, and I can't get 5w at all.

Any help or tips greatly appreciated.

No 5west, those French channels even bled over when I used to scan 4 west here in NW London. Two Globecaste test cards very strong signals.
