Yes that's cheap for a CI receiver, doesn't say that it has DiseqC, but I'd be very suprised if it doesn't.

Top of the illustration next to scart lead I think it says DiseqC 1.2, but my eye's are not as good as they used to be LOL

Yes you're right it does Zansi, so that really is good value, providing you delete any unused channels, 2000 doesn't go very far, you could make that the base of a good multisat system.

Shame it's not available down south.

Hi,

I have got one of those 'SR 1902 VC' receivers too from a friend of mine. I use it mainly for finding satellites. I dont seem to have the instruction manual. Does anyone know where i can get a copy of this? Maybe a company site or something. I have figured out the way to tune it (eventually) but i would like to see what else it can do.

Hi,

I also bought a SR 1902 VC, at lidl in Holland.
Unfortunately there was no manual in the box.

Biggest problem is to get the correct pin (p/l button on the remote).

I received a REMOTE T29 with the receiver and it is not sure to me if this is the correct remote to use.

A small explanation and the initial pin would be highly appreciated !

Thanks in advance

I have this 'SR 1902 VC' receiver too and have been trying to get the FTA French channels at 5W. I have converted the frequencies and these are in the high 2000s but I cannot get the receiver to go beyond 2250.

Is there a solution?

Thanks

Hi there frog1 - did you ever get an answer on this one - I have exacty the same problem and I was wondering firsty how do you convert the 4 digit frequency number to an actual frequency - I was also wondering what affect the "video adjust" screw on the underside might have and whether or not this could vary the max possible frequency ???

Any help from yourself or anyone out ther would be much appreciated.

The four digit frequency is the IF frequency, it is what is left after the LNB has downconverted the transmitted frequency.

For a Low Band frequency, normally one below 11.700Ghz, you would subtract the value of the Low Band local oscilator, this being 9.750, for High Band, 10.600.

Rolf, sorry for dragging this old thread up but I am having problems converting to the 4 digit frequency.

In your last post, you were saying that you subtract 9.750 or 10.600 from the five digit frequency.
I am horrible at Maths and whataver I do I can't make 12732 2132

How can you do it?.
Can you show me the calculations?.

10600 from 12732 = 2132. (you subtract the High LOF from the high band frequencies).
Similarly 9750 LOF from the low band ones.
