Annoying scam ??

No I'm not dead ...yet..
..but thought it time to at least call in and say hello.
..and make anyone who hasn't been subjected to the latest annoying scam I've encountered...aware of it.
Over the last couple of days I have been subjected to at least a dozen calls from an unknown source ..
A female robot voice telling me that my internet connection is causing problems for a company ...and will be terminated within a day.
lol
and to ring a phone number to speak to their tech team asap ..
damned amusing the first time ...but seriously annoying after the 12 th...
Of course ..their phone number is not available ..
I rather think these are scare tactics ...but do wonder how many vulnerable folk fall victim to this sort of abuse.
what happened to the world we knew ?
not a place I like much these days..
..like my life ain't hard enough these days.

Nope, not heard of that one tbh, but then we use BT callminder phones, so no cold callers get through anyway.

Yes, callminder phones have been a life saver. We get almost no cold calls as a result of them.

Also a lot of reports on the TalkTalk forum in regards to the same style of attack, might help if they hadn't lost all that customer info back then lol.
