Are they not a standard connector? I think that there are two standards. I replaced the stupid little ones on my Linksys WAP54G with big mental ones to drive the signal all over the house and it was just a screw-in connector.

These :

They have a TNC connector, (HGA7T) whereas the antenna for my bridge (again Linksys) uses the other standard  , SMA:

which carry the part number HGA7S.

You can pick up very cheap copies on eBay.

Couldn't find the 6100, but found the manual for the 6000 here, and though it looks like it might be one of the two standards, it doesn't say which.

It's obvious to look at though once it's unscrewed.

You can see them here funnily enough :)

They also have an excellent FAQ on the ad.

Can I make you a cup of tea as well? :D

Of course our unit which was bought cheap is non standard and doesnt use bayonet connections....

The unit clips in and has a fly lead connection to the transmitter unit. Looks like I can get an adaptor though for bayonet fitting.

mil & no sugar please BGS :)
