They're not available to buy yet. At least you can't buy a UK box yet. The software for the UK box is undergoing a rewite to make more of the hardware functions available.

I've got my name on one but I fear it will be at least September.

I got one (well two) for work. PVR1100 - is this the one you are referring too? Its German box - can be set to English Menus ...
