Had the chance to test the Humax PR-HD1000 yesterday(Apr.22.). It was on a regular CRT TV but the first impressions with the software interface was that it is very simple to use and the OSD graphics are easy to read. Changing channels is an o.k. speed, and the info that the display shows on the receiver is complete. Channel search is also an o.k. speed(faster than my Neotion 501). Will have the chance to bring it home next Wednesday(Apr. 26), to test it with my LG 42" plasma screen to test the HD signals from Astra & Hotbird. Will give updates on this "personal review".

LG model: LZ-42PY10X. Standard def signal is of course w/ sat. receiver via scart RGB is acceptable. You do see a significate difference in picture quality when a channel is on a transponder with less compression(i.e less channels crammed together).
