Seems like a killer receiver, based on Linux, modular which makes it futurproof.

Heard they dropped the 1100s production now and will realease the Reelbox Lite in September with much improved design and other things.

Yes they have been beta testing the 1100S but they are stopping production of this to replace with the Reelbox Lite. I think is also due to DVB S tuner supply problems which also would have held back the launch. This will have only the basic configuration and no DVD Drive, but the user may add whichever DVD drive they wish plus hardrive ETC. Bit pricey £400. I think this is due September officially. Lot of support now at http://www.reelbox-support.co.uk

I've been waitng about a year now for the Dreambox 7085 to come out, this seems to be non-existant. I read a rumour that it may be out next year and the 7025 could be out this year. I will probably buy a Reelbox instead rather than wait forever for a 7085. Getting a bit fed up waiting but I know that sods law says, if I buy a 7020 now - a new Dreambox will come out next month!

We have just bought two Reelbox PVR 1100 units for testing at work .... Most of the support sites seem down. Anyone know how to drive the CLI?

If they are no longer making these then probably no real reason to trial one ....
