APDU commands help. I2C Memory card.

hi all.

I have a really weird smart card with 6 contacts. I have an omnikey reader and software to interact with it.

I want to find the APDU commands to get this card to dump its memory, but so far all i keep getting is : 6A 86

which means that the P1 and P2 are wrong. To combat this i got a bruteforcer ; -http://apduscanner.sourceforge.net APDUscanner - a tiny, dumb tool to find responsive APDUs on ISO-7816 smart cards - GNU/GPL

This program brutes these commands. I found CLA and INS but P1 P2 P3 are not working. I have tried to brute it but all combo's give 6A86 response. I have verified that the reader and software work becuase i have successfully dumped a SLE4432 (2-wire interface) (ATR: 3B 04 A2 13 10 91) but i can not dump this I2C card (ATR = 3B 04 49 32 43 2E).

Can someone with experience please tell me where i am going wrong.

BTW these are the commands that i have used:

on card with ATR: 3B 04 A2 13 10 91 I used : Command APDU={FF B0 00 80 80 }

and get

on the other card i have bruted every possible P1 and p2 value while keeping p3 at 00 but i still get no response.

I recommend you post on a file site as nobody really messes with cards on this side of the globe anymore, there is no future or value in it. My understanding is that the card you are trying to dump will wipe itself before divulging its content

But i am not attempting to "illegal get sat codes" these response i have gotten are legal from the card. I am not attempting to defraud someone. I simply have a smartcard that i can not get the correct p1 and p2 parameters.

Well I am very pleased that is the case but still I am unable to help you, this is a hobbyists website and personally it is not something that I have studied in any technical sense of the word. The reason I suggested another site is that my knowledge of our hobbyist member's skills and capabilites lead me to a conclusion that you may be better finding a file site whose members have that skill and knowledge at their fingertips, you are in a very specialist field with this query

well thank you for your explanations. I have tried googling website that deal with these types of problems but i have been unsuccessful at locating one. Can you please tell me any sites that might help me?

Although not a file website, the most technical one that I know of is -http://www.duwgati.com/uk/index.htm but I do nopt think it has been technically updated for 5 years now.
