Good evening from a chilly Mullion Cove Cornwall.
Father Christmas ( Alanna ) kindly brought me a Ariva 4k Satellite receiver.
At the moment it receives its signal from the Humax aerial feed through.
I do no want at the moment to upset the Vbox, so I drive it to the required sat with the Humax, then select the same sat on the Ariva not turning on Diseqc or motor.
On first boot or after a reset it allows selection of satellites, if I select more that one then scan, it would mean quickly driving the Humax to the next sat, not easy to do as the Ariva does not pause much in between.
If I just select one sat on the Ariva and scan it works fine on that sat, but I cannot find out how to add other sats after the first start boot.
Do any of you most knowledgeable gentlemen own one of these ?
So far I have found two 4k test transmissions on HotBird, it looks to work OK.
