Aston Cam and Sony IDTV

Hi Folks ,
I recently got a hold of a goldcard for a friend with a relatively new Sony IDTV . He found that he needed a cam and after being mucked about by ITV Dig he sent for an Aston Cam from the States . He then had a Cam Delivered from ITV ( although he had cancelled ) The problem is that he can't get the aston to work and can't even get a cam set up menu to appear . He is extremely frustrated . The card has arecent Kevlar code on it and it is a new Cam . Can anyone offer some advice , it would be much appreciated .

The only thing that I can think of here, is that the Aston CAM that you got from the US is not a Seca or Mediaguard CAM. What does it have written on it?

As far as I know, Mediaguard is not widely used in the US, Nagravison Videoguard and powervu are though.
