Hello!

Well I've taken the plunge finally and was tempted by one of the Lidl specials. Unfortunately they'd run out, but I managed to pick up a receiver, sat finder and LNB. A friend gave me his old, and now unused, Sky analogue dish. After some frustration I finally got Astra 1B 19.2 E on the receiver. Very nice too. I somehow managed to get Astra 1H (according to a test card on one of the channels), but I'm after Astra 1G. ESA (European Space Agency) transmit on there, and often relay NASA TV so I've heard. So how do I get from Astra 1B/1H to 1G?

The dish is currently mounted on a broom handle... all modcons huh?

:)

If you got 1H you got all the others - they are effectively co-located in orbit.

1B is off air and is effectively scrap metal hanging in space.

ESA is ONLY on air during special missions and launches, and doesnt carry NASA.
