Still very weak here, especially 2F... there certainly was some re alignment by SES.

Same here. 2F UK was previously approx 22\24, now closer to 1\24.

I'm 500km to the east same latitude same size dish no problems.

You're in luck. Here it's like reverting to my previous 90 cm dish.

The last days 2F has shown a larger daily variation than usual. The last hours (20-22 local time)
ITV HD was down to a level where dropouts a slight hickups started to appear. All other levels are
normal and I don't know if finetuning will improve things, last tweak was at least half a year
ago.

No, they had to be in the office because of the 2G launch, annoyed and bored, and thought "let's make them feel our pain".

The sats haven't changed position.

Not very scientific (*I don't claim to be*), but reception here in Eastern DK is tip-top, possibly even better than ever before.
On the FoxSat, I have all 28.2(+/-)E channels on the CM180 at Q=90% or more (often 100%, e.g. BBC HD2).
Just tried the iCord Evolution on the CM120 configured with a SatCR/Unicable LNB (Maximum), and have good reception (Q=70-75%).

[I am deliberately not writing about signal strength, as
a) these measures are not taken through direct-connected meters, and
b) recent experience shows that signal quality (the ability of antenna to translated radiowaves into electrical waves on a cable) is actually more important than strength.]

Hi sorry to bring an old thread up but has anyone in southern spain noticed a reduction in the 2F frequencies. Only these are lower 11307 universal channel etc horror cbs bt sport. 2E & 2G are all okwith little drop for time of year.

Signal from 2F spotbeam is about 1 dB lower than 2 E which appears to have a 1 - 1.5 dB daily variation here. At the moment 2F is only reading 6.4 dB on my 1.2 dish here. ok for 11307 V but problems on 11344 V due to higher FEC. According to flysat CBS Action and some others moved around 10th March which is possibly why it is being noticed.

Suggest you re-post on Iberian reports thread, or installing dishes in Spain chit chat thread where you will probably get more reports back.

Signal is the same, but those transponders have changed to a more fragile error correction.
