What has changed to 2F orbit slot movement, as the center of box data does not anymore show two time periods for day, but only very long period (from start to stop) ? Is it still moving as 8 ?
Only inclined satellites draw a figure-of-8 as seen from earth. Non-inclined draw ellipses!

If the center-of-box period lasts very long, that just means the COB threshold is met during a long time (which is good).
Typically, after each manoevre the ellipse will not only have a changed location, but also different orientation and dimension.
That's about every two weeks for Astra 2F.

Is SES center of box webpage lying ? or n2yo page lying?, because right now n2yo shows that Astra 2F is at 28.4, and according to SES data that cannot be possible if center of box is near 28.2 and the movement has not been ever that big. Or due to station keeping this satellite can have 0.2 degree movement related to center of box, once per month?
Center of box data:
ses_center_of_box_astra_2f.png
N2yo:
astra_2f_n2yo.png

Also satellite calculations webpage shows that 28.4,
28.3952°E

but are these now getting some invalid data somewhere?

According to KingOfSat and FlySat 11428 H has been moved from 28A to the 2F?

Both 11595V and 11428H no changes here in signal levels. If they are from 2F now I'd be very happy as they are easy to receive on my 85cm but I strongly suspect they are still on 28A. The higher band 2F are only just receivable on my 1.8m during good weather for comparison.

If satellite-calculations.com web site was right, it showed that 2F Distance from GEO altitude movement has been altered greatly, at least related to June values. As in June it was -4km - +3km, now it is -19km - +16km. So now fringe footprint would be making larger movement? Or again this satellite-calculations website is making numbers from nowhere?

This happens from time to time at different times of the year. It usually has no visible consequence for the footprint movement, as this is mainly caused by attitude errors.

But for dish pointing, that signal would have effect when satellite is more moving up/down? Signal variation due to this movement.
And how is footprint( spotbeam covered area size) not changing with this up/down movement, is the beam really dynamically making smaller when in upper position, and then bigger when lowest position? I mean if the spot beam is then always illuminating same area? Or is it illuminating more area when in upper position, as that would be logical? and when lower position, then illuminating smaller area? So fringe footprint would be affected (null line movements during day cycle and the position and size of the second side lobe) ?

If you have a very large dish of course you could be affected, especially if you want to have both satellites. But that isn't related to the footprint movements.
Just calculate what a 10km change in distance changes for us on the earth. Even assuming the change in distance would be relative to us and not to the equator. That should be somewhere in the range of a less than 1km wider beam.
While at the same time a rotation of the satellite by just 0.1 degree moves the beam about 60km

@popolon How is Astra 2F's signal at the moment? I've been thinking it's a little better at the moment than in summer. I'm picking up 2F Europe beam for longer in the evenings on a 1.8m dish in Helsinki at the moment.

For 2F UK spot, there is improvement, but I am not sure how much, as I had wrong skew on summer (data signal on 11006V highlighted it), and that I have not logged daily variation until now.
For 2F europe, currently it seems :

Thanks, that graph is interesting. I'm getting similar results using the DrHD F15 on my 1.8m Aerial dish on 12522V and 12552V (usually varying from no lock to about 6.5dB max) but 12633H is not as strong as your readings (usually varying from no lock to about 7.8dB ). I haven't adjusted the dish since 2D days though.

On the change of position of satelite28'2-28'4ºEast, if the signal is strong, not noticeable, if the limit, as I do, if you notice, having to modify the engine length to tune to 100% the satellite.
Recommended for Madrid (Spain) Minimo is 150cm satellite dish (offset) and have only just 94cm (according usable space), so I notice changes / satellite motion quickly.

Well, as Astra 2D was at 28.2E and Astra 2E is at 28.4E it seems like a good idea to adjust, especially with a 1.8m dish.
