Indeed. The VPN / sky go option seems to be a 'perfect' solution.
Lose the record function. But ten again my box was full of stuff I never got round to watching.

That's a shame. Reckon there is no chance if me getting permission for a 4m dish. Certainly not from the neighbors.
However a work around is sky go. Downside is losing the ability to record everything.
Hello!

Why not find a solution together with your neighbours. Place the 4m dish on the "right spot" if possible, and from there use Invacom Fibre MDU Optical LNB or other's optical LNB's.

Majority of people I speak to have no idea what sky is. Don't understand why canal plus isn't suitable. Plus there is the forest 15m from the back of my house. So view to the sky could be blocked.

Yes, Sky UK is not exactly high on the lists of priorities for the average Finn these days. I would say the vast majority are happy with cable and if they can't get cable then Canal Digital or Viasat is more than enough for most. Even on terrestrial there's plenty of films, sport and more even in HD.

Yup - the dish can be located kilometers away from the residences!

Assume Im a technophobe - what do those figures mean for your reception? Tallinn should have zero 2F reception on that sized dish

that seems to sound like it involves in big investment. and again it assumes the neighbours (7 houses) are all keen to recieve channels they may not understand or need.
So again, SKY Go sems to suit for now.

Thank you - please let us know how you get on with the bigger dishes.

You might stand a chance with the 3m - theres a partially successful report north east of you with a 3m

The google translation from Estonian really isnt very good :-rofl2

Coverage limit on coverage seems to be falling on a very steep, so already a bit out of the need to fear a large frying pan.

Not a very warm welcome reply to a first poster, but at least that member made an effort!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the site is satellites.co uk but when you request reception info from other regions ( you get what your given ) accept language problems and resist mocking them :-shh

I think the joke was aimed at Google's attempt at translation, not the poster.

I apologise if my previous post came over as making fun the poster - it certainly wasnt meant that way - as the others have said I was amused by the atrocious attempt google translation has made of the Estonian - English. There are numerous other oddities like that which is a bit odd because most of the time it makes a reasonably good attempt of translating from one language top another.
