By my calculations, is about 20°E (just be glimpsed telemetry of Eutelsat 21B )

Better to follow the 2G KA beacon, clearer spectrum field.

~18800V @ 20E. 1L KA Newsnet mux still visible.

Astra 2G TLE #10 of 4 Jan 01:53 UTC: 19.8°E at that time. No inclination any more.
Moving 1° per day, estimated now at 21.7°E.

From recent detections, has not yet reached Eutelsat 21B... seems between 21 to 21,4°E

That's how I have it. No beacon peaking on 21B yet.

Another update already, TLE #11 of 5 Jan 15:04 UTC, 20.9°E at that time, but still moving 1° per day.
The ITU database has SES records at 21.5°E, so maybe...

Update (for what it's worth)

Using the Ku beacon, as there's no Ka beacon on or near 21B to compare with.

Not much change, still about 1° West of 21B. Azaal TV mux on that sat showing to the left of scan, but peak some way down of course.

Find its a bit ironic that Astra 2G was launched on a russian rocket with a x band capabilities primary for aid worker communications, but can also be an aid to nato.
