Auroral activity is currently being reported as far south as the north of England.

Absolutely no chance of seeing anything here atm - its peeing down outside :(

Clear here and very dark, but no sign of the Aurora.

@AS: Better to be peeing down outside than inside!

Now that is a BIG shame Timo, how many do you see a year roughly anyway?

I've only seen them a few times in the south in the past solar maximums, but still waiting to see them this time. However in the north of Finland (Lapland) I've seen them loads of times. Some of my photos here:

Things have quietened down the last hour or so - probably now only visible from northern scotland. Not seen anything apart from low cloud & drizzle here all evening :(

Excellent photos there Timo. What sort of exposure do you use to get those results? I've only ever seen the lights on TV and I get the impression that they are speeded up. Or are they? What sort of speed do they ripple at?

Exellent shots there, as much for the general scenery as the Aurora, beautiful.

Exposures vary from a few seconds to 1 minute depending on how strong they where. There are different types of aurora, some are very static and just seem to slowly fade in and out but during more active storms they can dart across the sky fairly quickly with the classic ripples of changing colours you often see in pictures but most of the videos are sped up somewhat as a time-lapse sequence of long exposure shots.

Although I can't see much outside at the moment in Helsinki it is fairly clear so I took a 20s exposure picture and there might be something green in the sky but I'm not sure if it's actually airglow or just my camera's white balance messing up. It is hard to tell with all the light pollution of the city.

It's clear, but there's absolutely no activity to the West of London.

Soho (or at least Stereo) took a great snapshot of a prominence two days ago.
