The VU+ went west a while back (hence the SX88) and the other ones are buried deep in the 'room of requirement'...SWMBO has recently been on a tidy up and I don't think dragging another RX into the equation would go down well....it's too cold for someone my age to be sleeping outdoors..
Oh dear! Difficult situation - looks like we'll have to wait and see what my investigations of the issues with the SX88 & SX88+ on the Dakar feeds results in (unless, of course, you can find one of the older receivers and persuade your SWMBO to accept a "temporary visitor" to the viewing room for a few days?).

Just replaced the SX88 connected to the TD110 with the SX88+ - same result on 11047/H/14400 = SFA!

Dumbo question (maybe). When I cabled up the multisat dishes, I used French sourced coax which was 17 vatc. After changing back to the motorised dish, I'd like to use compression fittings, but I'm not having any success with getting them to fit onto the cable. Either they're too slack or the other compression fittings I was given seem to distort on compressing. Any ideas as to the difference between 17vatc and say RG6 ?. I'm using a cable stripper/cutter and a compression tool (i.e. not a pair of pliers)
