Hi guys, I need some advice

I have been using my google drive to backup some pictures and music. I don't want to use the google drive program as I am afraid that if for some reason the online stuff gets deleted, it will delete it on my hard drive too.

So I used a tryout version of syncback pro, and it worked fine, setup was as easy as anything, but when I wanted to buy it it said 65 € , and that is too much.

Then I tried ipbackup, but i could not figure out how to set it up, it was so complicated I gave up...

So, any ideas? Cheers, TG :)

I use a flash USB for all my backups, as I don't trust any of these backup services/
For larger size needs, I use an external USB HDD.

I just use a 64GB SD Card these days.

Well, several, actually: One each for permanent copies of Photos and Music stored on the Hard Drive and another for monthly backups of Browser and EMail Profiles, unarchived Data etc.

Do you use a specific backup program TG? Or do you just copy things over?

You you could try Dropbox 5gb free cloud storage or you can pay to increase it.

Guys, I already have 100 GB in Google drive storage - I am looking for a SOFTWARE backup program to mirror what I have on my hard drive onto the Google drive cloud storage. But I don't want to use the google drive software that you can download.

I am aware that you can use a hard drive, and I do that too, but:
a) I want online access to these particular files and
b) if ever something happened to the physical backup and computer (theft, fire, water, whatever) I want them ion the cloud.

So Syncback Pro did a good job, but is a tad too expensive... so if anybody knows a good software that does the cloud I would be happy to hear about :)

Hi T_G,

hxxp://www.backup-utility.com/articles/backup-pc-to-cloud-4348.html

choose Backupper standard - Free

I use AOMEI Backupper for my network , it says it will work with the cloud but I have not tried it, but it is free so you could always give it a try, if you don't like it just delete it.

Good luck

Regards
