No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

And the doom and gloom period is upon us.

A POLAR storm will smash Britain kick-starting a six-week big freeze unleashing torrents of snow across the nation until Christmas, terrifying forecasts predict.

I was wondering when the weather boys were going to cry wolf this year... :-rofl2

Best they leave it to proper meteorologists, they know how weather works, cos blind guesses make for much embarrassment, especially as it's the same prediction every year... :-lmao

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
FWIW. a couple of days ago, I picked my (probably!) last OUTDOOR mini plum tomatoes - they are in a corner of the garden that has a (relatively!) amazing micro-climate (and the mini-plums seem to last far better than the round ones):)

Still a n-ice dish though.

Why not remove the covering with a broom ?

The family satellite system (80cm motorised) has lost the Baltic channels today (and with it Disney XD/Junior). Saves me a trip to the roof to break something.

You need a bigger dish on that motor - there must be one amongst the many in your "Alibaba's cave" of a shed!:)

Nah, just keep putting those logs on the fire - and a hot water bottle around the toothpaste in the bathroom:)

I hadn't considered turning on the heating quite yet.

There will be no liquid water in the bathroom so keeping the toothpaste warm is a moot point

On Fridays I have several friends coming to my garage to play some Novus. So, preparing for evening event, instead of fridge, I used ice to get drink cool. When time came the bottle was dead frozen, so we were forced to used another one (not cooled). And frozen one still in the yard, I hope nobody will drink it o_O IMG_20181214_220342 (Large).jpg
Should I use basket of hot water to melt the ice and safely remove the bottle? :)
